Loren's interior design career began 34 years ago when he was building miniature rooms such as this one. Here, in a 12 x 4" shadowbox, you can see the precursor to Loren's career.

Working in a miniature store, he knew he wanted to build a life in interior design, which started with high-end, fine miniatures, all to scale. Today, this passion and dedication to detail shows
in every project Loren takes on.

It all started when...

My father and grandfather had a flooring business, and made custom wool carpeting. As a child I helped pick out select color palettes . I was always very artistic and creative, even re-arranging rooms as a child. I was chosen as one of the first three students at Stevenson High School to be placed in the advanced art program for sculpture and pottery. Added to this, I was singing and writing music and this, along with design helped me to become who I am today. So you can say that art and design have been my life.

With all of my experience, I've learned that art, is design.
